12 Oz Ground Beef
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
4 Clove Garlic
1 Pepper Jalapeno Peppers
1/4 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Cup Tomato Juice
1 1 Cup Canned Black Beans
1 Cup Beef Broth Or Bouillon Canned Soup
1/2 Can, 15 oz (303 x 406) Tomato Sauce
2 Cup Salsa
Mix chili powder and salt with beef.
Place onion, garlic, and jalapeno pepper in slow cooker.
Top with beef, cayenne pepper, tomato juice, beef stock, black beans, tomato sauce, salsa and water.
Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 8-9 hours, until beef is tender.
Remove about 1/3 of the beans from the slow cooker, mash, and return to pot.
Cook for an additional 20-30 minutes, until mixture is thickened.
