4 Cup Water
16 Oz Pasta
2 Can (15 oz) Tomatoes
1 Medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
4 Cup leaves, whole Basil
4 Clove Garlic
1/4 Cup Butter
3 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1/2 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup, grated Parmesan Cheese
Combine water with linguine, diced tomatoes, onion, 1/2 cup of the basil, garlic, butter, tomato paste, chili flakes and salt in a large frying pan.
Boil over medium-high heat, stirring often, until pasta has absorbed most of the liquid (9-10 mins).
Transfer pasta to a platter.
Sprinkle with parmesan and remaining basil.
Serve immediately.
