1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Cup, chopped Onions
1 Clove Garlic
1/2 Medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2 dia.) Red Bell Pepper
6 Patty (4 oz, raw) (yield after cooking) Ground Turkey
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 Can, 15 oz (303 x 406) Tomato Sauce
1/2 Cup Ketchup
2 Tbsp Vinegar
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/4 Tsp, leaves Oregano
1 Dash Salt
6 Roll Hamburger Bun
1 Fruit, without skin and seed Avocados


In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat.

Add the onion, garlic, and pepper to the skillet, cooking until onions are translucent and pepper is tender.

Crumble in the ground turkey making sure to break the meat into small bits.

Cook until most of the meat has turned from pink to brown.

Stir in the remaining ingredients, excluding avocado and buns (hold off on salting the mixture until the end).

Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce heat to low simmering for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Toast the buns until golden brown.

Cut avocado into thin 1/8-inch slices.

Scoop the Sloppy Joe mixture onto the buns and top with avocado slices.
